Adjustable Beds

People have different reasons for choosing an electrically adjustable bed. It may be that you require a bed to adjust to a particular profile to aid with getting in and out of bed. You may need your bed to adjust to your required sleeping position, either raised at the head or the foot, or both. This may aid with existing medical conditions you have. Many people choose this type of bed purely because they find the flexibility of the sleeping surface to be simply more comfortable. Whatever your reasons – we are happy to advise.

With quality comes reliability

Whilst shopping around, you will find that the price of this type of bed will cover a huge range, from the price that seems too good to be true (and probably is) to the ridiculously expensive (with no apparent reason). May we suggest that middle ground is often a safe place to be?
With quality comes reliability. Lessons learned decades ago have resulted in our beds incorporating the finest quality German motor/action assembly. This, together with our supremely comfortable profiling mattress means that your investment will return a comfortable, quality product which is designed to give you reliable service for many years. We can honestly say, albeit whilst touching wood, that we have never had a failed motor/action of this type to date.

One size does not fit all

People with back pain should be especially choosy about the type of bed and mattress on which they sleep. While there are many opinions, there is very little research in general about what types of mattresses and beds are best for the back – and no real medical research about adjustable beds – we do get a lot of questions about whether an adjustable bed is a better option than a flat mattress for people with back pain.

It is important to remember that your personal preference for sleep comfort and back support should ultimately determine which type of bed or mattress is the best for you. This is no single type of mattress or bed that works for all people, and there is no real medical evidence that supports an adjustable bed as the preferable option. The bottom line is that whichever bed or mattress allows you to sleep comfortably and without additional pain or stiffness is the best choice for you.
