DELIVERY OF YOUR NEW BED/DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD BED

We aim to offer you a speedy and efficient delivery service. To assist us in this, we ask that you observe the following points.

LOCAL DELIVERY: Delivery charges may apply depending on your location and distance from our factory. Any charges are merely a contribution towards costs. To keep this to a minimum, we allocate certain areas to certain days. This also helps our delivery service to satisfy orders in a favourable timescale.

The day of delivery will have been pre-arranged between us and yourself. Our delivery team will call you en-route to advise that they are on their way.

Please consider the arranged delivery date and notify us of any changes as soon as possible. Failed delivery will result in a supplementary redelivery charge.

ACCESS: We require clear access to your property when delivering. Any obstacles such as pictures, ornaments, furniture etc, should be removed between the entrance and destination. Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage to the afore mentioned or décor.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the items you purchase will fit both into your home and into position in the room it is intended for. We cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. Charges will apply for any remedial work / alterations to / or replacement items required due to access issues.

ASSEMBLY:

The following items are included, where time constraints permit:

  • Divan beds and headboards
  • Mattresses are placed in position
  • Packaging is removed

This assembly service is inclusive of our delivery service, unless we are asked to deliver and not assemble.

DISPOSAL: Whilst we don’t charge a handling fee, we pass on a recycling fee to the customer. This is the fee we are charged when dropping your items at our recycling centre. Any items for disposal should be stripped, disassembled and at ground floor level where possible. This should be carried out prior to the arrival of our delivery van.

SIZE TOLERANCES: Divan bases are timber frame made and are manufactured to exact sizes. Mattresses are considered ‘soft furnishings’ and are all hand made. Size tolerances of +/- 2cm can be expected and should be considered normal. Our products are made to standard UK sizes unless European sizes are required, which will incur a surcharge.

POLITE NOTICE regarding payments and cancellations

Please note that full payment of the order value will be required at the time of purchase for all bespoke products.

Please also note that any outstanding balances are due to be paid prior to delivery.

Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason, the following terms will apply:

  • Should the order have been manufactured, cancellation will not be considered.
  • Orders not yet manufactured will attract a ‘10% of full order value charge’ to cover administrative and processing costs.
  • Refunds will not be applicable on bespoke orders placed and cancelled.

WARRANTY TERMS

Faulty Goods: In the unlikely event that the goods prove faulty due to a method of manufacture, or materials used, we will repair or replace the goods subject to our inspection. Any claim regarding faulty goods should be made to us, with proof of purchase as soon as the fault becomes apparent. Please note that these warranty terms do not apply to circumstantial damage and does not include goods that are subject to wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or a third party, used otherwise than in accordance for their intended use, failure to follow our instructions regarding care and protection, or any alteration or repair carried out without prior approval of us. We reserve the right to substitute any specification if the original is not available.

We also reserve the right to refuse to collect and repair goods affected by bad stains, odours, mildew or parasites etc.

Please note that failure to turn your mattress as directed will invalidate this warranty. Please remember to read our “caring for your new bed” leaflet packaged within your new mattress. A mattress protector is also recommended for use with your mattress. A quality mattress protector should be waterproof and breathable to give the correct level of protection. These can be purchased from our store.
