About 12 years ago we ordered our first bed from Beds Direct and now was the time to replace the mattress.
From re-ordering to delivery they have been amazing, having received such good advice and nothing is to much trouble.
The delivery was spot on and the mattress gave us the best nights sleep we've had for a long time.
Highly recommended and the only place to go if you want the best customer service and the best quality mattress.

More than 20 years ago, had the good fortune to visit manufacturer Beds Direct and make a purchase. Would never go anywhere else, now. Couple of weeks ago, needed special-sized bed to fit a limited space for my grandson. As expected, same advice, quality and service as ever. No gimmicks or special offers, just exactly what you want. Trust me, you'll be delighted!

Took my elderly mum today who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. Staff were fantastic! She got the bed she wanted. The purchase process was quick and swift unlike big furniture retailers! Definitely recommend Beds direct 👌

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Steve dedicated his time and expertise to us when we chose our mattress (a Swaledale mattress with natural/recycled materials) - and we took a long time to choose!! The best thing is that they really know the products as they are hand made. Delivery was prompt and professional. We would definitely use them again. Thank you, Beds Direct!

We bought our new bed a couple of months ago.
The service we received was friendly and professional, Steve was very knowledgable and helped us to make important decisions. We have now been sleeping on the bed fora few weeks, it’s super comfy and we are both no longer waking up with backache!

We are very pleased with our new mattress and pillows which were delivered a week ago. It is so comfortable and my husband, who was having problems with overheating when sleeping on a foam mattress, is now getting a good night's sleep. Hurrah! that means I am too.
It is beautifully made and has handles at the top and bottom as well as the sides: very useful. The pillows are great too, and I love the fact that the mattress filling is natural fibres.
A friend recommended you and we have passed your details on to some other friends. If we need another mattress we'll be in touch.

I needed a new double sprung edge divan base to replace the existing one which was rather worn. Steve at Beds Direct Batley explained the different bases available and was very knowledgable about all aspects of beds and mattresses. From order to delivery took about a week. Steve and another chap arrived, removed the old bed, fitted the headboard to the new base and took away all the packaging (you wouldn't have known they had been had it not been for a new bed in place of the old one). Great company, great service, great prices - When we need any more new beds I will simply go to Beds Direct Batley. Many thanks to Steve and your team.

On recommendation I visited Beds Direct Batley and was privileged to meet Steve who patiently listened to what I wanted and then took me around the displays to show me the beds. He took into account my needs and requests, added his suggestions and finally a decision was made. The order placed and price including a mattress protector and removal of my old bed was quoted. Three weeks later I received a phone call to say the bed was made and decide on a convenient delivery date. Promptly on the day I received a phone call to say they were about 30 mins away and true to word the van arrived. The delivery men were polite, friendly and efficient getting on with the delivery straight away. In next to no time at all my old bed was removed, my wonderful new one installed, the controls explained and the room left clean and tidy. I am absolutely amazed at the quality of the bed, the service and advice given for the price I’ve paid. I can assure you 100% you will have no complaints or problems if you visit Beds Direct Batley and buy from them. Thank you Steve for all your help and advice I will not hesitate to recommend you to friends and family.

I needed a mattress topper for my campervan roof bed and was given the contact details for Beds Direct - Batley, I called and dealt with Steve who from the outset was helpful in giving me information on the types of mattress available, having given Steve the measurements I ordered a bespoke mattress which was manufactured within 1 week and delivered shortly after.

Having taken delivery the mattress fits perfectly into my camper and feels really comfortable.

For various reasons this review is somewhat late being posted.

We moved to this area ( West Yorkshire) as our furniture was in storage we needed a bed, explained to Steve our requirements and the urgency.

He took time to show us what was available, The mattress would be completed that afternoon and delivered the next morning.

Sure enough it was, quality excellent, you get what you pay for.

Superb customer service and quality product, cannot recommended highly enough.

Family business over many years and it shows.

We have bought several mattresses over the years from here.
The price and the value has always been second to none.
We bought a super king sized bed and mattress in December but after a few months we felt that it didn't match up to the previous quality we were used to. Despite turning the mattress regularly it had sagged in places.
We rang the company to voice our unhappiness and spoke to Steve and within two hours the mattress had been picked up for inspection. The following lunchtime it was returned to us. We were advised that there had been an issue with the springs so they had replaced the springs and repacked the mattress.
We were delighted with this fantastic customer service. Beds direct have us as a customer for life and we will continue to highly recommend them.

I came across Beds Direct by chance after looking online for a new Super king bed. After a telephone conversation we took a drive to Batley to visit the showroom and meet Steve. He shared with us his wisdom and we arrived at a choice of bespoke bed and mattress. We took delivery 4 weeks later and we couldn't be happier with the result. The product is certainly high quality and the customer service is truly outstanding. I couldn't recommend Beds Direct any more highly.

We ordered our new bed from Beds Direct around the end of November. We then ended up adding a mattress to the order after getting chance to go to the show room just after the second lockdown was lifted.

All I can say is WOW! The bed and mattress arrived just before Christmas and we are delighted.

The quality of both the bed frame and the mattress are the best we’ve seen and we went to quite a few high street chains to compare too.

Firstly Christie and Dawn were amazing, so patient with us as we asked loads of questions via email and phone. They were both more than helpful and also knowledgeable, not trying to force a sell but helping us understand the products and what’s available including the materials.

Then when we got chance to go to the showroom/factory Steve was there to help us find the perfect mattress. Once again ever so helpful and we also put the world to rights having a natter afterwards too. Joking aside it was great to meet and talk to the people making the items you are buying, if the item wasn’t made on site it came from a company they personally check from to make sure it is right for their customers.

Honestly I cannot recommend this team of lovely and skilled local company enough!

When the time comes we would definitely look to buy another mattress or bed from the team. If our friends and family ask too we will point them in the direction too.

This week I had an adjustable bed delivered from Beds Direct. I have a back problem and after discussing with Steve we decided on a specific mattress frame and base. I am delighted with the whole unit, the mattress is absolutely perfect for my back.
This is just one of the many beds that our family have bought over the years from Beds Direct, the first was in 1985 from Alan, Steve's Dad.
The care, consideration and advice they give in helping you to chose the correct bed is exceptional.
The delivery team Tim and Ben take great care when installing and make sure that you fully understand the operation.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this lovely family business.

Just bought again from Beds Direct. Steve and his team are amazing. Workmanship, advice and customer service second to none. Our first purchase a few years ago was a bespoke made, small double for someone 6ft 5 inches tall...and was perfect! Latest buy, extra deep ottoman storage beds. Quality superb. Highly recommend this company for the quality of their mattresses and customer service. Recently ordered my third mattress from them but was let down by the carriers entrusted with delivery. The managing director, Steve, arranged for the manufacture of a new mattress and delivered it personally the day after the original one should have been delivered. The personal service and commitment to the customer sometimes lacking in this day and age.

We all should know that in the whole of the world the greatest town for new beds is Yorkshire's Batley. And further you need to know that there is in this lovely Yorkshire town the Greatest Independent Bed supplier / marker in the world. Yes Beds Direct 😁 it matters not if you want a hard or a soft bed. In fact a bed of any width or length they can make it. It will be the finest quality at a very honest realistic price. And how do I know ? For nearly 50 years I have been buying their wonderful beds. You will not be disappointed.
