Bespoke Mattresses: Why not have a mattress made for you?
- 9th April 2019
Did you know that the average human is asleep for roughly a third of their life? Although that sounds shocking, with a bit of maths it’s easy to see that it is likely the case.
Since you spend so much time asleep, why not ensure that you are going to be sleeping in comfort? With a mattress made especially for you, you can guarantee you sleep in comfort tailored to you every night. No more sleeping on a mattress that is uncomfortable!
While a mattress might be promoted as bespoke, that tells you nothing about what is actually customised to suit you. When you choose to invest in a bespoke mattress, what is adapted to suit your requirements?
Along with the above, there are other little customisations available. These customisations mean you have a mattress created for you that suits your requirements as precisely as possible.
In order to ensure that the mattress meets your needs accurately, the creator of your bespoke mattress will take several important things into consideration. Here are a few examples of what will be asked and then taken into consideration as part of your mattress creation:
The answers to the above questions will be important in the creation of your bed. For example, asking the question ‘what comfort level is required?’ will allow us to recommend a handful of suitable mattresses within our range. As another example, questioning whether the user has any allergies is important as it is obviously crucial to avoid using any materials that could cause an allergic reaction.
There are a variety of mattress types available. What are the three main types of mattress that we create here at Beds Direct Batley?
Open coil mattress: This type of mattress offers different levels of comfort and quality, depending on your specific requirements. For example, an open coil mattress is ideal for everything from low-cost children’s beds to an adult spare bed. Our open coil mattresses offer good support and comfort, with varying degrees on firmness available depending on your needs.
Pocket sprung mattresses: A pocket sprung mattress offers unparalleled levels of support and comfort. Each spring is enclosed in its own independent pocket. This means that each spring can move as an individual, allowing each to react on its own to the weight upon it. Pocket sprung mattresses contour to the body, which relieves pressure on the joints. It also offers an optimum sleeping experience when sharing a bed, as the mattress adapts to the shape and size of individuals. We have 12 types of pocket sprung mattress on offer at the time of writing.
Foam mattresses: Foam is a synthetic resource that’s used in many different ways in the production of mattresses. Foam can be used with springs or independently, depending on a variety of factors. Our foam mattresses are designed with your requirements in mind, so there are plenty of ways you can customise your mattress.
Choosing the right mattress for you can be difficult, especially when you consider all of the different types, shapes, sizes and materials that are available to you.
